Hello there! Iā€™m currently studying Human Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) with a focus in HCI at the University of Washington.

Growing up in a very traditional Chinese household, I always had the mindset that doing the arts as a profession was looked down upon. As a teen who had an interest in many creative spaces such as music and fashion, that was kind of difficult to deal with. That was, until I came across UX/UI design. I found myself fascinated with the little intricacies of the design process and realized how many little things in our every day lives could have been designed a little better from things like a door to my favorite videogame interface. The exposure of such a profession was able to bridge both arts and STEM for me.

In the past, I have done a lot of community service with the disabled community, and I also really enjoy making custom mechanical keyboards!
